Our Bath Bombs are 100% natural and vegan.
We use mica powder for coloring. Mica is non-toxic, naturally produced from nonmetallic minerals. Mica is widely used in organic and natural beauty brands as it is safe to use on almost all skin types with little to no side effects.
Bath bombs are infused with essential oils or natural fragrance oils. Fragrance oils are formulated with natural materials. Individual aromatic components are isolated from a plant, then mixed with other isolates to create a fragrance blend. They're different from essential oils, which use all components of the plant source to create a scent.
We are working on experimenting with recipes and formulas and seeing what we like and what we don't like. We've learned that cornstarch is used to make the bath bombs fizz longer, but cornstarch has also been proven to cause yeast infections in girls, so we would rather have bath bombs that are natural and healthy than to have them fizz longer.
We use a press to make the bath bombs. The more pressure used, the less air is trapped in the bath bomb, which means that the bath bomb will be more compacted and heavier, so it will sink instead of float when in water.
I personally have tried our bath bombs. I don't have a problem with the fact that it sinks. I loved feeling safe using it and I loved the moisturizing effect it had, as if I had put on lotion. My favorite smell is anything citrus, so that orange scented bath bomb was just absolutely divine.
Speaking of scents, maybe it's time to tell you all the scents we have for our bath bombs: Lemon, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Mixed Berry, Geranium, and Orange.
Bath bombs come individually wrapped and in a set of six in a cute egg carton. Each box has a label with a color map of which colored egg is which scent along with instructions, directions, and a disclaimer.
